The Middle East is a region where vehicle is king and fuel is cheap, often leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of walking around.
But this year, as demonstrations across the have risen the rate of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.
In an area that has among the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one business is making the most of the growing pressure to discover options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving successful too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
